Abc Puzzle by getfreefile.com is a freeware 2D puzzle game similar to the Rubix cube, the difference being a similar puzzle offered in a two dimensional interface without compromising on the complexities of the classic Rubix cube. The game basically comes with two variants, one being a simple tile puzzle which involves moving the tiles in the groups of four each with the help of the control. The game looks much simpler on the first look but it is not so as you have to arrange the tiles without disturbing the previous arrangements that you have already done. Apart from this, another variant is AlterJig in which the player has to re-arrange the tiles in the center to make images but has to leave the outer tiles intact. Initially, the game provides five images as default ones and you can add other properly formatted bitmap images for playing this game with the pictures of your choice.

Abc Puzzle v.8.392 is, overall, an entertaining game and goes really light on system resources so that you can start playing it without interruption in other system operations and applications due to memory overloading. Being a freeware, you don’t need any second thoughts about giving the game, a try. Hence, it receives a score of three-and-a-half rating points on the scale of five.

AbcPuzzles offers two variations on a tile-based puzzle game. Each uses the same basic engine, in which you move the tiles in groups of four or more by spinning them with the control located in the corner where four tiles touch. Much like Rubik's Cube in two dimensions, the games are harder than they first look since you must get the tiles properly aligned without disrupting your previous work. AlterJig uses images, scrambling the inner blocks but leaving the outside one intact. Five images are provided, and your own properly formatted bitmaps can be used. Cyclanoid is similar, but your task is to arrange the tiles in rows to match the icons displayed along the game-area border. Demo modes and documentation are included for both games.
